Senior Researcher

Senior Researcher at the Italian National Institute of Health and Co-Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre on Childhood Obesity. She works in research, coordination of national and international projects, training, and participatory approaches in communities. A midwife, IBCLC, pedagogue, and PhD, she has developed her studies and a passion for public health. As a university lecturer, she enjoys “cultivating Communities of Practice” with the next generations of citizens and professionals. With over ten years of experience in international Primary Health Care programmes, she focuses on the first 1,000 days, breastfeeding, Nurturing Care, NCD prevention and social and gender equity.
